c20xe not fireing no spark no fuel

hi my mates xe wont fire the fuel relay is clicking but not primeing the fuel pump checked the crank sensor tryed it on my car works fine the black wire near the gearbox is conected and live what else should i be looking for the fuel pump works because we tryed it by put a live wire to it so any ideas guys!!!!!

i take it they can still click then nut just not work??

its either a tatered pump, or a wire is faulty

yeah they can click and not energize the 2nd circuit...
