No you wont - unless its got XE shafts.... The Nova CV joints are quite short/shallow - I have managed hundreds with a trusty 'normal' depth socket.

Halfords sell them for around £6 and are good enough quality

Sorry to hijack your thread.

Once you have undone the nut is the hub/flange pressed into the bearing or can you slide hub of the shaft & out.

Need to swap my hubs over soon & not sure if its a diy job or take to garage?

Swapping hubs is easy enough

undo balle joint track rod end and strut

Undo the hub nut and pull off the hub easy peasy lol

I just take the hub to a local garage and get them to do the bearings aswell, usually £20 covers it to be done in 10 mins.
