Just bought some fk coilovers off a mate very cheap

they have fk g4 stickered on the side with blue springs and camber adjustment

are they cheapo ones or good ones?

Will be just for road use

Will be fine for road use. My mate has them on his car and they are ok! Not outstanding but not bad!;)

I take it it has standard rear set up (seperate springs and shocks)?

He didn't have the rears only the fronts, can't complain for £30

I had them on my car before the ones I've got now, they're very stiff and you feel most bumps but I wish I'd not sold them now cause they were far better than the Belgium imports I have on now.

mmm mine were even brand new so odd that, also at the time I only had a 1.4 8 valve so it's not like I had a LET in to make them stiff.

Mine where 2nd hand but not much miles on them, xe fitted. Soft as anything.. Hated them. Went to Spax and there where the other way, on the softest the ride was just harsh and bangie.

i run fks the same as you have just got were brand new when fitted and are quite harsh ride

The front end is fully polibushed anyways so comfort is out the window anyway

My Fk's are harsh too, i'm running 8" 300lb springs though

Mine are just the standard springs in them I think
