gear box/drive shaft oil seals f13 help

i need a bit of info on how to get the old ones out please just fit a new box and now the shafts are pissin oil out every were can i change them with the box in the car or does it all have to come out again . cheers dan

drain the oil, or just pull the shafts with a catch pan.

then get a decent size flatblade screwdriver & a hammer & clout the seal on one side. it will pop out.

new seals are about £8 each from vauxhall dealers

the hardest bit is sorting out a drift that the seal fits into nicely, so you can clout it back in. its relatively easy if you've drifted a seal in before,

yea mate done a few just never had to do the box ones cheers for the onfo mate ill get a set bought in the morning

i used a big 3/4 drive socket and several extension bars
