well many on here know ive been out of work since last november, yesterday i spoke to a company about joining them and arranged to go see them on saturday, however at 8.30 this morning i got a call asking if i could go in today as he had had a couple of cancelations, so i got ready and was there for 8.50 its only 5 miles away, had a lengthy conversation with the company director and the sales manager, and they offered me the job so i start monday morning. Its a sales job for a brick company and i cant wait to start such a releif to finaly say im employed again

when the building trade picks up ( hopefully soon ) then thats a soild job.

ye i hated it on the dole first time ive ever been out of work and it was a nightmare cant wait to get back to earning money again

it is picking up, but it is a bit of a regional thing. certain areas are going mad, others are dead

Congratulations, I've been out of work for a month or so. And today get a new job managing and taking telephone orders for companies such as Amazon. Much better pay than I ever got when I was a mechanic, so hopefully the Nova will start to show that :D
Nice one Rich tis about bloody time you had a spot of luck, specially with mini Mee on the scene now too lol

well first day past and had a great time realy good bunch of lads had a right laugh so good to get back to work
Don't knock it! My mate sells bricks and she earns a very good wage after being there three years. The company she works for is called Weinerburger or something....
