Cant work out what size tyre to fit to my 14's

they are 6j wide

175/50/14 ?
185/50/14 ? which are alot dearer than the other sizes lol
185/55/14 ?
something else ?

wheels are et33, i know im probably going to have to mod the beam, but i might getaway with the 175/50/14 ?

not sure

any ideas/opinions ?

If they stick out further, why are you going to have to mod the beam?

185 50 14's would be the ones to go for! I used to get 185 60 14's for my astra gte wheels for cheapness when i was younger but theyre slightly to tall and balloon looking would of much rather had the 50's!;)

Why do you need to mod the beam with et33 wheels:confused: They'll stick out further away from the beam than a 49mm offset wheel would;)

We run 185/60-14's on the rally car with ET35 wheels without issue, so 185/55 would be fine.

With et33, there could be a chance of the tyre hitting the rear arches.

Was thinking of cutting the rear stub axle plate off and welding in the other side if that makes sense, pushing the wheel in 10mm.

Hence I was thinking 175 for more clearance.

I can see what youre saying, but it wont then match the fronts which will be sticking out to the edge of the arch!;) Can you not get some machined of the back of the wheels, even 5mm:confused:

Yeah the more I think about it 175/50/14 sounds the best option, just want to get it right first time, as it's not like I can take them back and say they don't fit lol

iirc a corsa b has 175 tyres?

testfit some 14 inch corsa b wheels with 175 tyres, and use a 16mm spacer to see how it goed with the arch.

165-50 is stretched, you can go uberlow with them lol
