Ok, I've taken off the XEV (Ecotec) 4 bolt bottom pulley from the bottom cog, did the same with the XE (Red Top) Cog and Pulley. The crank is different so the Red Top cog cant be used on the Eco Block. The Red Top Pulley will fit the Eco Cog with 2 bolts and as it only runs the Alternator, I'm happy with that.

Now I have 2x Pulleys and 2x Cogs.

When the Red Top Pully is at the 12 O'Clock position, where should the Cog be? Any way of telling?

iirc the bottom "cog" for the cambelt (Which is what i presume your on about) has a mark pointing down to a mark on the sump, or that might only be smallblocks, Cant remember.

But, 2 bolts holding a pully that spins at thousands of RPM? No thank you!! Im thinking of the vibration and the force holding the belt on tight!

Both Pulleys are marked, cogs aren't.

As for the 2 bolt pulley, thats minor details at the minute, I need the answers to the above questions moreso than the pulley advice
