Help with few leccy questions

my nova is fitted with a cat 1 alarm, normally when i lock it you get the usual bleeps etc but now it only flashes without the beep.

What would cause this?

Also on my digidash the rev counter sometimes works sometimes doesnt

Ive removed the clocks and wiring looks to be normal, could it be a fault with the dash?

My clifford was silent in valet mode.

Can you try another rev counter to rule out your dash as faulty or not?

i will try and get hold of one, dont think i can though. without wiring a set of corsa clocks in lol

If its in valet mode then the flashing clifford LEDs will be permanently on.

Sounds like youve just disable the sound alert when you arm/disarm

its an autowatch 160 adam

check the earths always good place to start if google search you might be able to find a manual on alarm if havent got it t see if it in valet mode

is there many earths on an alarm system mate?

the alarm seems to be working fine and the immobiliser but not chirping

Check the alarm siren, most have a switch/key to turn the siren off (especially if they're battery backup ones)

guessing i would find this underneath the siren mate?

if all else fails is it best to try and locate another siren from a scrappy?

or speak to an alarm fitter? they usually charge fat dollar though :(


Also jack the alarm was working fine with the chirps up until the other day, it just stopped
