Does it haev to be taken in one of those booths, or can I simply take a piccy on a digital camera then print it out (aslong as all the sizes/colours are right)?

£5 for one use of a photo seems a bit rough lol

Aslong as it follows the regulations (positioning of shoulders and head, facial expression, picture size etc) it will be fine.

Mine I took myself with a 3mpx phone camera and they accepted it no problem :)

As long as it the right size and has a plain white\cream background it fine.

I did ours at home against a white wall, then printed on a little stand-alone photo-printer

I took mine on my own camera, took millions and took the best of a bad bunch to Asda where they printed off 6 for about 64p :thumb:
