I have bought some oval repeaters off e-buy and they came with the lense and orange bulb.
What else do i need to buy. I have read the guide on nova land but am still not 100% sure.
Do i just get the bulb holders and snip the originals and re-wire?

yes! cut the wire, connect the new bit to it. then stick the repeater to the wing (should be a sticky pad) sorted!

thought so. Its just i didn't want to rush into it as a bulb holder is ?4 for each side.

make sure you don't cut the wire too near the car or you won't ber able to get a connector on it!

oh no no no. I will cut them near the original holder but with enough length to re-wire them in the future and enough to do the ovals

if ur using sticky pads get some all weather ones (if they exist :? ) i used some quite strong double sided tape but went crap once it had rained a couple of times.. i used sealer in the end which looks much better and does the job too..

i think i am going to go for cutting up the lens and sticking it to the arch using clear sealent. Not going to bother modding arch.

any motor factors will sell the bulbs

use a small bead of clear silicon sealant to bond them on, if they ever need to come off you can get the silicon off without leaving a trace

only downside is so can anyone else, but thats the case whatever repeaters you have unless you araldite them on or something (dodgy)

either solder & cover using electrical tape or use in line connectors make sure it's a good connection an off you go!

i still haven't put them on yet. I have got the bulb holders fot the lenses and now i cant find some little female spade connectors that fitt the spades without the insulation being to big to get thme both on or without insulation touching each other!! Any ideas??

solder wires to the terminals

then fill the side repeater bit where the wires are with bathroom sealer.......

worked a treat on cousins car, as it completely waterproofs the connection so theyll never come loose or get dirty with shit and rain

i dunno y so many ppl arent sure bout these cheap things cus its piss easy, this is wot i did, took a trip to my local car shop, bought some clear ford oval repeaters (come with orange bulbs) took a file to them, filed away the clips on the oval bit, took a file to the barrel to make it fit the nova arch (none of this arch modding bollox) then one layer of insulation tape round the barrel. connect the 2 wires to the back of em using connectors, twist barrel into car, push it flat, jobs a gooden. 10 minutes max.

mine was the same, trick is to get some mole grips with a thin nose and clamp them to the wire then you won't lose the wires in the wings (like i've done before).

and i did the ford thing too. went to motorworld and got some clear ovals for an escort or fiesta which came with the bulbs and holders about ?8. cut off the clips and filed back till smooth and banged them on in under 10 minutes.
