Scrap man RANT!!!

Went out to the my nova today, which is parked up my driveway, to find a leaflet under the windscreen wiper. It was from a bloke who clears old cars for scrap, who thought my saloon was dead or something!! Friggin cheek! Its the second leaflet Ive had. Its not like my car has no doors or wheels on it, its clean and in one piece. Its has £500 of shiny wheels on it for gods sake! If I'd have caught him putting it there I'd have punched him in the face! :mad:

but after I'd calmed down a bit, I can see the funny side of it and I suppose hes only trying to make a living. Its just I feel insulted that my pride and joy is seen by someone else as fit for scrap! :cry: :eek:

there was a couple of lads round here that were nicking cars & crushing them.. they even took a car off a drive when the owner had died & they waited for the funeral procession to go round the corner and craned it. they are inside now.

Talking of scrap I saw a funny sight tonight, was round my girlfriends house when i heard a lorry stop outside, it was a group of local travellers knocking on every door down my girlfriends road asking for scrap! Havn't seen that happen before lol

i put flyers on all cars, its not implying im offering to take that car but you could have a ex donor car or any other old **** hanging about, for instance only last week i put a flyer on a 04 plater mondeo got a call and collected 2 cars and random crap from that fella all free and easy way to earn 200 odd quid, dont knock it till ya try it ;)
