Just bled the brakes and the pedal feels to go quite low when braking is this wrong or is it me? I'm only used to newer cars so is this just how cars were back then in the day! There not spondgey and feel solid

drums on back? are the shoes adjusted out, that can make the pedal lower than normal.
using bigger calipers can cause this to

Bigger calipers! I thought that because the displacement will be different yea? They are 2ltr cav calipers! The rear drums have been rebuilt as to have the front so mabye it is just me after all
yea its the bigger capacity caliper and the same small master cylender so will give your peddal a bit more travel
can adjust your pedal if it is that bad
wont matter how much ya adjust your pedal youll still have the travel in as the cylender needs to return all the way to work properly

may give better feel on the pedal but as every thing wears pads and the like it wont allow fluid to through to keep the system full as it needs to return fully to allow this to happen
well ive never had a problem up till now and have done brake changes and bled them up fine, which according to you i wouldnt be able to do
maybe it has worked for ya but depends how much the cylender is depressed if it was me id go for a bigger cylender than adjust the pedal but thats just me
