hi i've recently just bought a nova conversion from a friend, i've finally managed to get the car running well sort of it wont idle properly and when revs pick up will produce a miss fire.... ive had a garage check the car for obvious things... he wasnt really interested to be honest, , , my neighbour used to use the engine in his rally car but with throttle boddies not injection system he mentioned that it could be crankshaft sensor any help would be most appreciated!!!!!

iirc it wont even turn over if the crank sensor has gone,

What fuel pump has been put in? may be fuel starvation

sounds like an air leak on the inlet some where check all pipes and joints for cracks or leaks and make sure the seal on the bottom of sfi box is in tact
