advice wanted on c20xe [Archive] - Performance Nova Group

looking for a little help please lads, should there be an ecu with this engine? found a large connector in the loom, where should it go to?

any advice would be great:thumb:

every injection engine has a ECU, should be inside the car, will be a big 30+ pin plug for the ecu.

Get pics of plugs and post them up in the correct section and people will be able to help.

Yes you should have a grey square metal box that connects to it, people usually feed the wire through the bulkhead in the battery tray and the ecu sits behind the dash.

Yep that should have the ecu plugged into it. The smaller blue one is the fuel relay I think.

yes you do, you have to make sure you get the right code as well i think.

surly he will need an ECU from the "right" engine though, right meaning coilpak or dizzy.

What is a coilpak mate? is that the orange/red bit that the ht leads go onto?

on yours, i think its a dizzy engine, so no coilpack.

i think the law should be involved. and if he claims there was no contract, then the build thread is full of his plans.... that is a contract..

press charges for:
1. theft
2. fraud
3. breach of trust.
