its about time they did a show called COPS BEING W@NKERS... because lots of them are when they try to pull you up & get you to admit to stuff that they have no proof of.....'you were speeding, weren't you?' is what is called a leading question.... it is down to them to prove it....
the trouble is that you would need camera crews in novas & similar small hatches being driven round by young lads.

The speeding program annoyed me. they got a group of people together who admitted speeding every once in a while, and then wheeled out a woman and a poor young girl who had been badly injured in a car crash when some turd in a 4x4 had come round a corner at 70 in a 30 and wiped them out. Gethin then went on to tar the people who do 80mph on the motorway with the same brush.

Because doing motorway speeds in a built up area is just as dangerous as doing 80 on the motorway!

(ill exclude the tool with the Aston they had on there as well who WAS an arrogant prick, but the other three were made to feel like criminals, and it made me sick to be honest.)

I got asked that about 10 years ago, to which i answered 'You tell me' :)

He just shouted at me for a few minutes and then left. IIRC I accelerated hard off the lights and he was coming the other way. i dont think i got near the speed limit, let alone broke it

the cop who was on the radio this week and quoted an AA survey of 30000 members who 'nearly all agreed that speed cameras were good', and who probable all thought the AA would either suspend their breakdown or insurance cover if the admitted what they really thought.........

why did the cop use AA figures???? because the neomarxist (yes, they were) previous government fiddled all of the figures on car accidents & speeding in their long term goal of public transport for the masses, as requested by their transport union paymasters.....and the real figures have been hidden from our view....

correct answer......

one hinckley cop specialised in booking people for faulty lights... new mot, points etc.... and he got me one night...
'did you know your rear light wasn't working???'
'no, which one is it officer???'
'the rhs one'
i then wiggled the bulb & it worked, and said 'thankyou very much officer, you know, lots of people would not have told me' and drove off before he could get his pad out.

Of course.

Take swindon for example. Accident rates are down by approx 5% over the last two years. And for the last two years, all the speed cameras there have had big orange bags over them.

our only local gatso's were installed because of a fatal crash CAUSED BY THE POLICE arsing about in a new rangerover on the A5 & killed 2 people..... so that was safe, wasn't it???

they built a new local roundabout & did such a shyte job of the levels that i said to my missus on the opening day, that i thought they should put a flower holder on the lamp post on the exit, ready for the first fatality.... 2 days later a biker died there.

they put the roundabout in to make the road safer

in my humble experience, people anchoring up for a gatso is way more dangerous than driving past at 3mph over the limit..

round my way, warwickshire first, and now leicestershire, they have suddenly decided the single carriageway A roads should be 50mph limit... for safety!!!!!!! or is it to catch more speeders, now the limit is lower...
or is it some poxy backdoor european thing??? because pissed french farmers can get home at 50 on their 2cv vans but not at 60

I've been trying out various 'cruise' speeds (in the 60 areas) over the past few weeks and I hvae to say 50mph is pretty damn great for fuel economy and you dont really get anywhere that slower (given most places you go are 40/30 a long way from your destination anyway)

in relation to police are ****ers, read an article in a week old sun, cops pulled a guy for no seat belt ticketed him, let him go apparently he accelerated with excessive force from the lay by so the stopped him again one copper jumped on the bonnet put windscreen through other on dragged him from vehicle, the guy was late 50's needless to say he's suing and the cameras on the front of the t5 were put to good use recording the whole thing! well all of the roads out from where you live have ANPR cameras up poles.... because they have decided that you & your local community all drive untaxed & uninsured cars..........

you think i'm grumpy....i never used to be... they totally screwed up hinckley in the hope that they would get a new supermarket, which fell through.. when they first did the northern perimeter road, a lorry ran a bike over (it was the cyclists fault) and some councillors called for a 30mph limit on the bypass. its taken them 20 years, but it is now a 30 limit thru the ind est... just wait.....

near you, they built a bypass that nobody uses..... they never realised that people wanted to get to & from your town not thru it!!!! when we all know that if they'd double yellowed outside the spar shop for about £100, they'd have fixed all the problems......

i just get more angry with age.

its this sort of thing that gets me raging.
i was watching police, camera, action earlier this week, and the police were called to a shop because a security guard had been attacked filling up the cash machine. when they got there, the attacker had scarpered. there were 3 lads standing outside the shop, minding ther eown business, and they atarted to leave when the bill arived (as you would) they picked one lad out and told him to stop. he did. they then pushed him into the shop wall, he asked politely what they wanted then another copper came over, pushed him violently into a corner, and pushed his head right down so he was bent douple, at this point the boy started shouting (as he was obviously in pain) and they then cuffed him and manhandled him into the car. whe they shoved him in, his leg was sticking out the door, so they tried to bundle him in, but he wouldnt move. turned out he had a false leg which didnt bend :tard:
the copper then stood and laughed at the boy to the camera, the boy was still shouting from inside the car, so the copper climbed over the front seets and knealed on the boys back when he was on the back seat.

I couldnt believe what i was watching, it made me sick to the pit of my stomach to think that the people supossedly upholding the law behave like this

i hate the way they shout "stop resisting" when there on top of someones face kneeling on there spine whilst engaging a full poilicemans armlock! what cnuts! it is a natural human reaction to prevent injury to yourself.... cant stand em

/\ exactly, they are violent b*stards most of the time, no better than the criminals they are meant to be catching. i'd like to believe they are just showing off to the cameras, but i fear the reality is they are always like that :(

i saw an episode where they were talking to some fella who was stood on his driveway with his car on the kerb outside, he had just got out of the nick a few days before, and tbf he didnt quite seem all there. they then proceeded to bombard him with questions, giving him no chance to answer, then checked his vehicle reg, and found it to have no insurance (he wasnt even driving it!) they then cuffed him, at which point he started to really freak out, what they should have done was to uncuff him, put him in the car and let him calm down, but what they did was 5 yes FIVE officers pinned him to the ground, one with his knee in the back of his neck, pushing his face into the road shouting at him and doing nothing to help him calm down. you could see there was one other officer stood behind them and he was just looking at them all in disgust.

its no wonder people have no respect for them when this is how they portray themselves

I have stopped watching programs like police camera action, road wars etc etc as I just get infuriated and shout at the telly. if the police treat even criminals with respect and decency they would see that returned to them and alot of the resentment towards them would then fade. IMO.

tbh this small thread is a perfect example why people have such a bad perception of the police, they say we are living in a thug nation its no suprise when the police make up half of it really gets my blood boiling to
