View Full Version : Oil cooler sandwich plate HELP

can anyone tell me which outlets are which on the sanwhich plate on an 20XE engine

i want to know which outlet feeds the oilcooler rad and then obviously i know which one is the return/inlet hole

i wanna know which way round they are as i want to rune the outlet anlong the furthest pipe to the cooloer

as you look at it, the outlet is on the right. iirc. but it wont make any difference surely?

why should it make any difference,i mean it flows out of one,through the cooler then back in lol

true andy true. just fit a cooler that doesnt over cool the oil. the oil gets better the hotter it gets

How can it over cool the oil then the sandwich plate has a thermostat in it?

the size of the cooler graeme, the oil going into the cooler may be hot but the oil coming out can be too cold.

guys i just wanna now what way it flows, im using the stock astra oil rad

flow= no difference mate, checked the haynes. :)
