4 branch troubles...

hi,
i bought a 4 branch manifold last weekend, trouble is it does'nt have a boss thingy, so i cant screw in the (lamda?)sensor.
it was cheap so i had 2 have it btw!!
could i just drill a hole where it branches in2 1 and weld (airtight!!) a nut on there?

yep u can do that, i really need to sort this out on my car.

got a magnex FULL system, which comes with a blanking nut just nehind the manifold>system connector by gearbox mount. cant get the frikin blanking plug out :@
also im gonna be fitting a 16v heated lambda as i already have 1 and its prety far back so i shud get better economy from it this way :)
iv run without it for to long as it proper killed my mpg when i swoped exhaust and stoped using the lambda :(
