just bought a TRS tow strap for my track nova and what the best way to go about fitting it ?

any one fitted one before?

it bolts on like a seat so i take i got to weld a nut n plate to the chassis?

Can you not strengthen the area and weld the nut in where the tow hook used to live and have it poking out of the bumper in the same place;)

cant think where there is to mount it on the front of a nova but on my gtir there is loads of bolt holes on the chassis to throw a bolt through i just used one that took my fancy.

I had some of these on my Escort Cosworth race car, before they became 'fashionable'.

Now I see that Regal are selling them for road cars, I should imagine race cars will be removing them as fast as they can...........

weld a captive nut. and put a bolt through it.

to add, if you go off properly, you need towing out backwards.... not forwards

just fit straps front and rear unless the original rear towing eye remains
