I have a brand new spi tank with the twist in sender if your req one cheers browney
Is that the tank that has the pump inside the tank
accessed by under the rear bench?
if you use a spi tank with a mpi pump inside it will work and is prob a better way around it as youve less fuel lines and a swirl pot to so it wont die off on cornering
Ok I'd need to cut the hole out under the rear bench as mine dosnt have it cut out but that wouldn't be a problem
What engine does the mpi pump come from
you can use prity much any mpi pump but i used one from a 2ltr vectra b around year 99 or so youll have to shorten the pipes and prob wont need to cut the hole under the seat just mount it all up from under the car might be better not as most times youll get a smell of petrol through it

Yes buddy it is, i used a walbro pump in a astra gsi cardle but as they say anything will fit in. You need just need a big hole saw :)
So any vauxhall mpi pump should fit the tank, does the return pipe go to the pump or into an outlet on the tank?

haha maybe a bit pikey lol
I'd probably just connect it up from underneath then bolt it up so I don't have to drill a hole lol
how much for the tank ank I don't suppose you have a sender in it?

prob the best way out of it and just make sure to use something stronger than the standard plastic fuel lines 8mm copper is the job and easy to bend
Yeah I already have copper pipe in use for the feed and return, my cars running fine just need a working fuel guage sender but can't get a bolt in type anywhere

definitely interested jist don't get paid till next week if you can hol it till then, don't suppose you have a mpi pump?
as i said on the other thread about senders.... get your old sender, and get a twist type one then fit the sender piece from the new one to the old one.
Have a working twist in sender are the easily changed?
well, a hacksaw, drill & a couple of small bolts should do it., the actual sender workings are the same on both types.
For the pump, as long as its a pump designed to be used internally it will be fine.
