How can i tell the diffrence bettween the two vauxhall astra engines listed below

Vauxhall 1.4 Hi Torq (60 bhp) 4/1389
Vauxhall 1.4i (82 bhp) 4/1389

I need the bottom one i presume?

or as u want rid u cud sell me your car without engine :D so i can put my bottom end in it!!!!

heh mike

the top one is the SPi engine has a single injector mounted in a throttlebody that looks a bit like a carb

the bottom one will look identical to your SRi lump because it IS your SRi lump ;)

he did the good old "missed thrid, got first"

and broke some bits in the cam / head

hmm, to be honest it would be beter to fix that than to get another, if your engine was ok to begin with.

fair enough its gonna cost around ?100 by the time uv had a new gasket/belt maybe valves add a bit more.
