Gearbox Q's

Will an F10 gearbox from a 1.3SR fit in place of an F13 gearbox in a GSI as my has knackered itself and i havent got the money to get a new one and have a 1.3sr in my garage. just need to know if it will fit and work ok

Y wont it fit mike? i thought all small block box r interchangeble?
When the gearbox starts to make little rattleing noise does this mean the bearings are gone?

ok fair does you can change the flywheel for the smaller one also........ but then your starter motor wont fit

and this and that and u make more work for yourselfs
