Hi,

Can I get insurance quotes by-phone before obtaining a provisional or full licence?. Having a licence is not compulsory for a quote is it?. :confused:

I've already had an online quote via uswitch with the cheapeast being 1600quid, and the highest being 11 grand! :eek: .TPFT btw.

I'm 23 no criminal convictions/driving offences, fairly good area, the car is a standard 1.3sr kept on driveway.

Surely I should be able to get quotes better than this?

Just had a call-back from uswitch, and they can't quote me until i've got a provisional and have a test booked for within a month. so that answers my question! :tard: they did,however,say that 1600 was a rough estimate and that they had other insurers offline who could beat that but can't go any further until i've gotten a provisional and a test booked.

bit of a waste of time posting this thread now actually eh lol
