Hi everyone, im about to sell my nova but have no idea what price to sell it for so im basically just asking you guys very roughly what you think. Iv had the car since 2005. Basically it used to drive in 2005but i brought it with an electrical fault with the engine. My plan was to get some money together and pay for someone to rewire it but iv still not been able to afford to have that done so its just been sitting there for all this time. I no that cant be good but on the plus side at least its not being worn out more racking up all those miles and more wear. Havin said that, I don’t know how many miles its done cuz the diles been broke since I got it, not sure if that’s easy to fix.
When i brought the car it was highly modified and i know its still worth quite abit from the amount its goon it and the fact it still looks great and with no additional signs of wear from when i first got it ( its been in my garage)
The car has-
Engine: 1.4 sri corsa conversion engine, 4 branch manifold,Samco sports silicon hoses, baily header tank, aftermarket ECU, full (slash cut) stainless steel exhaust system.
Exterior: Full body kit including front/rear valances (with mesh), side skirts, spoiler , debadged, evo bonnet, windo wiper converstion, M3 style mirrors, clear lights(front/rear/side repeaters) chrome washer jets, blue neons under the car with remote, blue smoked tints, Graphics (sponsors).
Interior: Sparco steering wheel, sparco 4-point harnesses, foliatec handbrake cover, cobra monaco bucket seats x2, digital dash ( taken from astra), type VR mats (front and rear) and tax disk holder. Eletctric antena, fire extinguisher, ripseed alloy pedals.
Wheels/tyres: 17" mille miglia actions (alloys), front: Toyo proxes T1-S (205/40/17), Rear flaken ZE-205
Suspension: Spax fully adjustable suspension (all round), Motormax'd front strut brace.
ICE: pioneer head unit, pioneer 5" mids(x2), pioneer 6"x9" (x4) , pioneer 10" subs (x4), JBL(GTO) 1100W amp.
Breaks: Front drilled disks and callipers (taken from 2.0 vauxhall calibre)
paint: limited edition nova turquoise with a purple pearlescent flip.
Any rough suggestions for price I would really appreciate, I no the guy spent 9,200 on parts when he got it, I would love to get it working buy I have commitments now and need a practical car. It also looks like the price of novas has gone up a lot since I got mine, im not sure if this is because their more collectable now.

Depends what the shells like. If its a good shell i'd say £700 - £900. But if the shells rusted to **** or the modification quality is poor you won't get much.

maybe around £1000, with the chav bits removed and replaced with standard then maybe more.

What are you struggling to wire in exactly? If its very 90's style you may struggle to sell it unless its a good solid shell. Id pay £750 tops
a fiver and a half eaten snickers

well, im not trying to wire it or nothing now cuz i dont no enough about it. I had my mate come look at it a while back whos a mechanic and said its the whole thing that needs rewiring cuz its a mess. The mods are done pretty well and theres no rust on the outside

You wont sell it saying stuff like that.
WHAT needs re-wiring? Engine loom/lights/dash?
Does it run? Has it got any other problems?
Why is it a mess? is the rest of the car a mess?
Send me a link to a photo bucket and il upload some pics so we can have a look:thumb:
typical mechanic...... with a haynes book & a few hours, the wiring could easily be tidied up so it works. vehicle wiring is dead easy......

You might get away with putting standard bumpers/mirrors/spoiler on and flogging it. The skirts will look poo but you never know

Looks quite clean tbh. Id seriously charge the battery before deciding that the wiring is goosed.
Put it on pistonheads for what you want for it and go from there (when it's running).

Obviously having a working car will get you more money. It will probably be very easy for somebody to sort.
I would say that with it running and maybe mot'd i would be asking £1k for it. It may not be to a lot of our tastes but a few people will be wanting it. If it is as clean as it looks in the pics i wouldnt give it away.

ah cool , cheers, just need to find somewhere or someone that would want to fix it dunno if a standard garage would want to touch it
most mechanics wouldn't touch it with yours....... they can make twice as much fitting cambelts.... and an auto electrician will charge you enough to put his kids thru college... offer rob some beer tokens
live in notts mate, if you rekon you could get it goin could sort somthin
you live in notts and you cant get it running...i thought all you people up there could start one of these badgers with a screwdriver ;) (from past experience)
on the selling side....burn the kit, standard bumpers...jobs a goodie.
