After a bit of a false start last time due to holidays and work commitments I never actually got a chance to get aa shell, appoligies to those who replied.

I am looking to reshell my rally car as it has done 25 rallies and is starting to look tired. I thought I would start the new build before it dies completely.

Therefore I am on the look out for a good, preferably rot free non sunroof 3rd hatch. Rotten doors, hatch, bonnet and front wings are fine so long as the main parts are in good condition, the chassis, battery tray, cross member, boot floor and all suspension points are solid.

I will accept runners, unfinished projects or MOT failures with blown engines/gearboxes indeed any mechanical component damage is fine as all mt current mechanicals will transfer over.

Let me know what you have, I can come and collect, cash waiting.

Im affraid a house is now my top priority list so this shell is up for sale,
Bought a few years ago from rob 77 good clean shell.
Looking a bit sorry for its self now but most of the hard work has been done :)
Full weldin cage, rear turrets, spear wheel removed ect as you can see from the pictures. The cage is only tacked in as i never got round to getting it welded incase i wanted to make changes.
The shell and cage cost me £1000 alone.
The bungs in the floor have all been welded, engine bay fully stich welded, along with every other seam in the car.
The underside is is 3/4 stripped ready for stiching
Im sure the cage profiled will make £400 on its own so as a base price £800 ono

Yeah I looked at this car and was very tempted, the rear turretin g and the lack of a bulkhead meant it would not be exactly what I was after. Sorry good luck with your sale though.

The sunroof is the only thing stopping me with this.

Assume you will want to strenghen the shell anyway? Put a new roof skin on? Sell the oldskool bits for the proceeds...?
