So how many of us went? Did see a couple of novas from here but can't put names to them. I wasn't going until the last minute and I think the micra went down pretty well tbh, it was alot smaller than I was expecting but there was such a good range of cars it didnt matter so much, plus the weird projects like the mini jeep, the push bikes with lawnmower engines and the lawnmower with the back half of the a trike attached it was quite an interesting one!

Loads of pics >>HERE<< (http://novasteve.imgur.com/retro_rides_2010)

The track sessions were a bit of a let down as it was rather a small track but some good drifting from the mk2 escorts boys and a nutter in an E36.

5 minutes up the road from me and I didn't bother, as it looked a bit crap. As did most of the cars hanging around in Yeovil afterwards lol

What a waste of money fuel and my weekend.
£7.50 to get in and park in the pre 90's section that was with the other car park so you didnt know what was there for the show and what wasnt.
Countless crap with big tail pipes about 6ft in the air.
I did see a few Nova's there well i had a nose around Will F's loon and a sport that was there.
I still dont get how a p reg passat with a rusty bonnet and a surf board with a shark bite out of it is classed as bang on trend.
There was people going crazy to look at it.
I spent longer getting there than i did at the show and only live an hr away
The best part of the day was pulled into the car park next to Count vauxalot his partner and Dotty..
Me and Splitty got there at 11 ish and gone just before 1.

Whilst I agree there was some real tat there - there was also some pretty good care and workmanship - some of the VWs were stunning...

I travelled 90 mins there and thought it was worth it!

Actually edd I think people started camping there friday night, well it was a 3 hour drive for us and yeah, it was a bit of a let down but at the same time all the big shows are full of chavs and some real crap cars, for me it had what a proper show should have, enthusiasts!!

We managed to blag our way on the main field so at least the micra got some attention lol actually it did get quite a good reception so I was quite happy :d

I had tickets and never made it. My gf hurt her knee, it was twice the size so decided not to drive from Bath where we were for the weekend and I'm not insured... nor would I drive her KA.

The pics look ok but I'm not gutted I missed it. My friend Lindsay's Brown MK1 Golf GTi looks the business in the pics as ever

There was a very tidy red 8k A reg Nova there. It's about 20 mins away and was free, so can't complain. It was nice to see some different cars instead of Vauxhalls :thumb:
