which is bewst, i have a k+n, but its a wee bit too quiewt, i want some induction noise. what do people use?:thumb:

you can try a all foam pippercoss an change the rubber intake pipe to some sort of solied pipe eg, ally or plastic

wont work...... so a noisey filter will do for now. pipercross it is.....

I dunno, its carbon fibre, and I put one on my mates 1400 16v mgzr, and it sounds the nuts:d

Also, make one, stupid as it sounds, rip an old kNn apart and make a "Cone" inlet styleee:)

My xe nova sounded like an mg zr lol lol lol
The one on mine is identical to a BMC carbon one, its an enclosed filter, and that sounds quite loud.
Looking at pics its similar to a K&N viper.
Mine was cheap too.

Halfords cones are quite loud.
But look worse than a bird with herpies:(

Random question, do people still buy filters brand new? Ever since iv started driving i have picked them up for a tenner or so and have had loads of them, would never pay £100+ for a filter.
Also, imo i have always favoured pipercross over k&n. They usually sound better and definetly look better and not as cheap. I have a large one on my nova which came off my mates old pulsar. I don't know what it sounds like though as my exhaust sort of drowns everything else out lol
