how do i get the dash out preferably without damaging it...i know its a mk1 and its brown so most of you will say hammer or grinder lol.

im kinda after the bolt locations.

theres hidden mountings on the tops under were speakes are in mk2 novas and one down near the ashtray oh and remove the steering wheel and stalks holder .

i ended up getting frustrated when i did mine and it broke :(
iirc theirs a few screws around where the ashtray/clock are but it was a long time ago and im not too sure

my memory was from 1999 lol take out the obvious screws down the door opening sides and if you take the glovebox out you can see in to where i mean the heater pipe might be in the way.

I timed myself - 11 mins all off! (That didnt incl removal of the wheel)

Its so easy 2 screws either end (or 1, depending on age) 2 10mm nuts - behind the clocks and glove box and 2 screws under the middle vents to remove facia and heater wires etc...

yeah, can be done without removing wheel.. but it much easier with it out the way..
careful with the couling, (surround behind wheel, stalks) thats the biggest risk of cracking..
as will f says tho

Glove box out, there is a nut above here, centre panel out, screws for heat controls etc. screw above ashtray, clocks out, nut above here, screws either side of parcel shelf and screw at edges of dash. Come to aberdeen and I will remove it for you (need a brown dash for my car!)
