removing an ariel

taking my wings off atm but cant get the bloody ariel off,anybody got any tips and suggestions.Also what size socket is it :)

if it is a factory one, it will most likely snap when you remove it. i just used mole grips on the last one i removed

no its not a factory item and its bolted underneath

just unplug the lead from the stereo and pull it out with the aerial still on the wing.
