2.0 8v Fuel but no spark

I now have fuel when cranking but no spark,i have power at the coil when i switch onto position 2 on the key,however when cranking there is no spark.Straightaway im thinking crank sensor.How can i test my crank sensor without a multimeter,ie if i earth a bulb out,which terminal should i connect it to on crank sensor plug?
Or could it be owt else?
