Cut everything on a straight line.
Don't constantly weld t as it will wrap them. (spot them on)
Dont cut to high up the panel.

Benn, if you were me (ie never done any repair panels etc)
Would you recommend me getting it done by professionals
Only needs the a little bit not the whole arch

Doesn't necessarilly(sp) need to be a pro mate as professionals cost big bucks

Just someone who knows what there doing :) I myself wouldn't try it lol

I helped a mate replace the arches on one of my Astra GTE's a few years ago.

Would I tackle it again myself?? Maybe.

Do you have a welder?
Do you have the time & skills to do a good job?
Do you have all the tools? (grinder, cutters, Joggler, goggles, gloves & son on)
Can you live with the consequences of fecking it up?

It;'s not the hardest job in the world, but I would say that learning on one side & doing a better job on the other, then wishing you couild do it all better a 3rd time is a case for not doing it yourself, unless your car is a shed & you just want to learn.
Bodyshops don't charge an arm & a leg for it to be done. Getting it painted afterwards will cost even more.
