mike if you've had a problem with them and feel you need to tell everyone please do, but no need for it on here as this isnt an advert for their services... they are giving someone the chance to show their car, not asking you to buy a full wide arch kit or anything.

heres the post.

i used to think supernoavs were fantastic, and they always try to sort me out and stuff. (which to an extent they still do)

but after being promised either the chance to go the pcc stand myself, or given the opportunity to give someone the chance off novaload to go, if i didnt want my car there etc

lets just say i found it a bit annoying that they were empty promises

i dont even wanna go myself, its just for them to say that and not act upon it its annoying.

there STILL supposed to be getting me some base plates and a couple of other things, not heard from them

prior to the MK meeting, they said i could go round sunday and get these base plates (AFTER I HAD FONED THEM - no chance of them returning a call no doubt.....) arrived there sunday morning to find shutters down.

foned the out of hours number, he said he was at home and wouldnt open up so i could just collect trhese base plates.

i says to him do u live far? he says other side of town, so i said so why is your green mk3 astra, registration............ parked outside.

he stumbled and put the fone down.

so there not my favourite people at the moment.

oh and as i said in the other post, they need to sort themselves out - u cant quote ?60 for a brand new bumper, and then want ?75 for a faded tatty one down the yard

so make you own minds up...... i wont stop using them meself, as there local enough to me, dosent stop me having opinions of em though

i wont remove it mate, as far as i am concerned you are just informing people about shoddy service you have recieved, which is a fair thing to do.

dont worry about my bad day, like i said... i am sorry about being an arse, just not in the mood for sitting on the fence n pussyfooting around so i dont upset people today. Too much on my mind.

i've only used them once for a couple of new bits but found them very helpful
answered all my questions an gave a novaload discount
sorry to hear of your bad experience mike but everyone has a lazy/off day sometimes.
while on the subject of bad service though - pvd aren't very helpful at all phoned them up for some bits, told me they didn't have most of the things in stock an either the supplier didn't make them any more or wouldn't be for a coulpe of weeks

it was the fact that theyre not consistent that pi$$ed me off, for instance u fone the yard for secondhand price which is more than the shop!?

they offer you a place or place for a colleagues car on a stand - then offer it elsewhere? empty promises. worst thing i hate about anyone / thing.

Firstly Mike as promised our Parts Manager Haz at Oldbury has in fact reserved you a vehicle pass and a show entry pass,I did speak to you on Sunday when you called,I do not recall the above conversation taking place,you called to see If we were opening up I advised you we were not.end of conversation,we do not trade on Sundays but some times open for customers as a goodwill,Also we called you on your mobile to tell you that the base plates we in stock,we can not give a exact date when goods are coming in as most of our products are imported and we have to wait for customs.

In regards to used parts being over priced we are handling agents for Direct Line Insurance and have to pay strong monies for good breakers,as you are aware it is getting difficult to get clean Novas to break.

i have no problem with your company, i am not even trying to compete, the only thing that is annoying is taking the piss on prices, when virtually everyone knows how much scrap cars cost.

i have contacted you on a few occasions and the prices have been over double what othe companies have them up for sale for, this in itself puts me off looking further into your parts to see what parts you have that may be more competitive on.

The only point i was making was that to say you are second to none on service this is a very bold statement, i am not saying your not as i have never purchased anything from yourselfs due to the above reasons so i cant comment on wether you are or not.

No harm meant, just stating my personal findings.

fair enough - you did call me back regarding this, fair cop. previous times though you havent. and more often than not emails go unanswered

SURELY - you cannot justify paying more for a second hand bumper than a new one, c'mon you having a laff !?!?!?- and i ent even bothered about that it was for my cousin!

For the record I've bought goods from SuperNovas in the past and I was happy with the service provided. I recieved the goods on the day that they arrived and even recieved a phone call from the guy who I dealt with asking if the goods had arrived (at this point they had). I was impressed that they got the order to me on time and even more impressed that they phoned me to ask if it had arrived.

I'm not wanting to upset you Mike, but you've had a bad experience of this company and yet it might have been down to a number of different factors.

I only posted my experiences with SuperNovas as some people might see your post and think "I'm gonna stay well clear" when they might recieve excellent service. Plus I thought it only fair that we get a balance of opinions.

jim mate (and co.) as i keep stating in my posts, i ent really got a problem :) and its all been sorted out now via PM / email

but anyway

ive only ever had one experience of foning them foning me back, everything else has been rectified now

in all my posts i have stated clearly that i would buy from them again and continue to use their services :)

so yeah - dont be put off ne one :D i use em, just not for some second hand parts - use the shop mainly

Nice one Jim, I was hoping someone would come along and say something like this to balance it out a bit... Cant stop mike having his opinion so was hoping to balance it out with a good comment about them since they are so closely linked to the site.

i have also ordered some things from them, alought a canny remember exactly what it was :? , back bumper i think, anyway i got it within a few days ov ordering which is alot better than another company i had a run in with :twisted: grrrrrrr evil 'PSG' after 3 months ov waiting and 6 million fone calls later i still had no bumper or refund which i was now wanting from them, so i emailed the judge person out of the sunday mail and they done a story on me, i got my pic in it etc, and then about 3 days after the story a got a refund cheque thru the post,

i would aslo use supernovas again, although when i bought my bumper i wasnt aware off a novaload discount!! :o
