XE over fuelling

I have the Mark2 Astra GTE pre lambda engine. On the emissions test today it was running around 6% (if thats how its measured) :roll: rather than 3.50%.
Its also got a lumpy idle as well which is very annoying.

How can I exactly stop the over fuelling problem?

Sorry whats a CTS mate? I've just replaced the AFM and its taken off the fault code that was present before.

I read that in previous threads, ill try that first.

blue sensor in the stat housing. Check its wiring also as frayed or shorting loom wires will give the same fault code.

Secondly, whip off the timing belt covers & check the timing is correct & hasnt jumped a tooth on the belt.
