On my c14se I have 2 purple plugs that connect to my ecu but one of the connections is dodgy

could I get another plug from any corsa ecu or does it have to be a c14se

it's the smaller of the 2 plugs

Connectors should be the same for dispack Nova and Corsa as it's the same ECU.

You should be able to pop the pin out of the connector and either sort of replace if necessary, unless the plastic of the plug is no good?

I'd find another loom ideally. But the plug could be replaced as phazer says.

The plastic part is fine, the earth wire in the smaller plug is damaged, the metal pin on the end of the wire is broke and my car has started cutting and the eml light dosnt come on

So I can use the plug from any corsa loom? Dosnt neccaserily have to be a c14se or 8v?

The ECU is shared on some other engines but to be safe stick to the C14SE (and the C16SE on the Nova).

Oh and when you get a new plug, please please don't chop all the wires and graft the new one on, pull the pins and swap over.

I might have a c14se corsa loom somewhere, will have a look and let you know.

Perfect mate let me know as I'm struggling to find one

What I meant was don't chop the old plug off the loom and connect the new one (barrel connectors or whatever). Do it properly and get the pins out of the old plug and swap to new one, repairing the one dodgy wire :)

No point adding more areas to fail.
