The cambelt has to come off to if you didn't know I'd get a locking tool will make you life easier, I used mole grips which wasn't ideal

you could also need a stubby Allen key to take off the cam cover as the room is limited when the engine is still in mine was 6mm

yeah i know mate,im getting a vernier aswell,as got a xe inlet came,so kill two birds at once,ive cut down a allen key,fits straught in the bolts for the came cover,thanks to mate
