Coming back Shuey had the chance to show everybody that he's not that kind of driver, but with that move, which IMO was his worst yet, he has failed.

BUT

Schui is no longer fighting for a championship, he's fighting just to get in the points, and driving like that for one point makes him look like a tool IMO

The jury's out for me whether he's going to do another 'ferarri' and have a few pants seasons before he starts getting to the top again. That manouver smacks of frustration from where i'm sitting, he should hang up his helmet before he is remebered for causing a massive accident and/or being the most contreversial driver ever, instead of all his championship wins.

dose anyone remember when mansel overtook senna cant remember exactly the race but senna tryed to squeeze mansell and they banged wheels at almost 200mph a couple of times neither went of and mansel made the move stick, think it was at imola not sure tho

IMO, that wasn't racing, that was putting someone's life in danger and completely unprofessional. Think of the implications and what would have followed if Schumacher had have put Barri into the wall, he'd have been hung drawn and quartered and rightly so.


I honestly believe Schui is past it and refuses to believe it dispite the fact he struggles to get a single point in any race.

schumi has a pretty much unique driving style...... and it doesn't suit these new f1 cars.. when he was at ferrari, they designed the car around him, then because they were bridgestones 'team', they would simply get the tyres made to suit his style, and then put a few thousand km of testing in till they worked... the modern rules don't allow for that. 2 different tyres at each race, full tanks, less downforce, and younger, better drivers, added to the fact that the merc/brawn is not a brilliant car.....mean he truly is at the same pace as williams this year..and he doesn't like it..

merc paid through the nose to create their 'new silver arrows' and hadn't noticed that the brawn had been going backwards for 6 months.. remember all the stories about what a mistake button had made by going to mclaren??

the car was also designed for button and as a caracteristic has an amount of under steer built in as thats how button likes it, button and brawn have admited this and schui has also stated he is having to compramise setup due to the cars caracteristics, schui likes the car to be like a go kart and over steer, he will be going even further down the field now as will nico as merc have now announced that they are finished with this years car and after the summer break they will be consentrating on next years car pritty much as honda did 2 years ago, but lets not forget that hondas staff was cut by a 3rd when brawn took over so thats a 3rd less ideas on design etc, i think with the new approach both nico and schui will find it hard to get in the top 10 as teams like williams and force india keep developing this years car.

personaly i dont beleive schui has become a usless driver the car is clearly not there, also if the front running teams get there way the testing rule will be scraped due to the new tyres and alleged fears for saftey (there sighting the us grand prix when only 6 cars raced due to mitchalin tyres not being safe) so if they get there way i beleive you will see a totaly different schui, the move was bad but its classic schui thats how he got his reputation and he wont change weather he is racing for 1st or 10th he wants to finish as high as possible, lets not forget the hammering he got a few races since by people saying he had lost his racecraft as he didnt fight hard enough to stop sutil passing him, the guy get criticised no mater what rightly so in this case but you cant have everything, he fought harder like the press wanted

Nico's done a far better job with the car than Shum.

I don't buy the bollocks that its 'buttons' car. Jeese, if they cant dial out the understeer then the car is useless. It should be infinately adjustable.
