1.6 16v engine

changed a 1.6 16v engine in a zafira with another 1.6 6v but the crank positon sensor is different is there a way round this thanks

there are 4 types of 1.6 16v, did you check the codes?

no did not got it from a 52 plate astra to fit into a 51 plate zafira already had to change cam pulleys and other small stuff witch was all changable but the block seems to be different. the zafira crank position sensor is bolted to the block at the fly wheel side with a 2 pin plug and the new {astra engine has a sensor at the buttom pulley 3 pin} is there a way round this ? thanks

can you not fit whatever crank sensor fits the block & alter the wiring/plug?
