F28 box problem

hi guys back from holiday now going to have a look tomorrow, the box wont go in any forward gears 1, 3, 5

i heard a noise like a bolt dropping and hitting the underside of the car when i was driving it to the lockup

do you think this sounds like a linkage problem, not managed to have a look yet

Does it go into 2, 4, 6 and reverse?

Does sound like something has come away. Have you had a look underneath to see if there is any of the linkage missing?

Could have lost a gearbox bolt out of the rear mount which would make the engine drop slightly and the linkage then hits the rack as its so close with the F28.

yeah it goes in 2,4,6, R i was thinking rear mount to will have a look tomorrow if it ever stops raining cant wait till i get the car to my workshop shame its 200 miles away from the car working in the rain sucks hard

The weather is a pain at the moment, I gave up with what I was doing today as everytime I got all the tools back out it rained again.

pretty sure i found the problem a bolt is missing from the rear mount think there is supposed to be 3 bolts, the bottom is missing anyone know what size it is its the bolt at the looks about M10

Think they should be m12. They will have been drilled and tapped to fit in the Nova so I'd double check.

Anyone know where i can get a new bolt from for this
