View Full Version : CV joint clasps/clamps/ties/clips/fasteners
Whatever they're called, I can't find anywhere that sells them. Want to use the proper metal jobbies for my newly built up driveshafts rather than cable ties. Anyone know where I can get some?
any autofactors should do them

I got them from Vauxhall.
I got some from CEF, i know its an electrical factor but they use the steel cable ties on fire alarm system and they are the same, the ones with the ball bearing in the end

ideal if you are doing a fair few,
bit expensive if its just the one!

Yes I did ask at Halfords.
Just built up new shafts so I need four small, two medium (for Cav mk2 inner CVs) and two large (for standard Nova outer CVs) - approx measurements are 30, 60 and 90mm IIRC.
Will try more motor factors on Monday, thanks all.
Edit: Found some on eBay, I suck at searching lol http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Ripon-Engineering-Supplies-Ltd__W0QQ_sidZ145090649?_nkw=cv+boot+clip&submit=Search
