basically as above is it possible to find a persons name from a mobile phone number, i googled it but cant really find anything because im hungover and cant function

Depends really, maybe you have the number and you don't want the person you are ringing to have it in case they a stalker type of person or some sh1t like that lol

lol it depends, my mums ex directory and has requested her number always be witheld when calling out, just a security thing i guess since my dads died, most witheld numbers are people selling double glazing or chasing money you owe lol

Don't think you can find out who owns a number, assuming its a personal number and not a business line.

6 out of 10 times it's my mortgage company as I'm changing it at the moment and the poor sod on the other end of the phone doesn't know what to say lol

I don't see why you don't call it and ask, i have to do it as I never remember to save numbers into my phone.

I've found the ones I dont really want to talk to are from "displayed" numbers that arent in my phone book lol
