Long story this but it belonged to my mates best mate back in the 90's, he died in a nasty car crash and my mate looked after the car and maintained it in the lads honor for years, he sold it on to a guy called Ken who also knew the ladd who passed away and he had plans to restore her (this was around 2004/5) but they lost contact i believe.

Number plate is g373 pus )

Looks like it's taxed until oct 2010 so must still be on the road, i spent hours and hours in this car back in the day so many memories and he's desperate to find out if it's still running

it's a 1.4 Sr pics below

Thanks very much for that info, i just used the generic DVLA website

Dont suppose you can tell when it was last taxed?

Does a car have to be sorn every 12 months?

Thanks again

Car does indeed have to be sorned every year, but there is no reason for the car to still be alive, it might just be the ID still alive.

Given the sentimental value id imagine it's been sorned every year and is tucked away in a barn awaiting resto

Disappointed now we thought it had been taxed until october

Looks like we'll have to track the owner down time to do some digging

If you want to find out information about a vehicle and its owner, you can apply to request this information from the DVLA. However, information will only be released if you are entitled to receive it, for example if you can show 'reasonable cause' to require it.
