Ok What Oil should I use in a 1.4 8v NV engine normal oil /semi-synthetic or fully-synthetic. The engine is near standard just a 290 cam and bike carbs will be used for rally. :thumb:

oil is only emotive when you are on a forum that 'oilman' is permitted to post on.... Where ANYTHING you chose is "wrong" unless its sold by them, and even then its wrong unless its the most expensive one they sell.
Here where dopey arent permitted, oil is just oil and it does the job just fine no matter what you pick (to an extent)

10w40 or even 15w40. buy cheap stuff and change it after every event.
remember to change the gear oil really often too. i did see where someone put a drain bung in the diff plate to speed this up.
