Love this phone. Htc sense overlay for android hugely improves it, but with a 1ghz cpu anyway.

Having to shaft your warranty to install apps from any source FTL.

I have a Blackberry, I love it. When buying a phone it was between the iPhone and the BB. I have to say I am very glad I didn't get an iPhone. It would already be out of date, screen probably smashed, touch screen does my head in, way too common, and expensive to buy.

Hsdpa is faster than 3g, and up to 7.2 mbps but in limited coverage areas. 3g is older and a lot slower.

In general use you'll get no more than half maximum speed when out, and less than that if in a moving car, the organisers in a building.

I don't really like touchscreens, but as I'm a nokia whore and their current lineup is pretty gash, I might have to get a prodphone. And I refuse to get a jesus phone. Or I might look at the Nokia X3 or whatever one it is that has buttons on it still.

Main reason for getting a new one mate as you well know, when my old one does decide to receive messages it didnt inform me till the next day sometimes, if at all lol

Fester got a Desire and sacked it off because it was too complicated for him or something. He got a simple nokia candybar comes-with-music instead and threw a 32GB micro sd card at it. Seems happy.

I still love my Desire though after nearly 4 months. Thats never happened before with any other phone lol

i run a k800i with the biggest micro sd you can buy, no issues here, had it 4 years and it gets battered. i wont upgrade till it dies, and thats prob 4-5 years away....

I did hear good things about the desire, I think that would be topping my list for a prodphone. Although I think Nokia are about to release a new line so might see whats in that.
