funny noise

now that i have my webber on (it aint set up and timing is out so it cuts out all time) when the car is close to cutting out or is pulling away it make a kinda "TST" noise :oops: as if its spitting kinda.

any1 got any ideas what this is ?

sounds like its spitting back through the carb-only remedy is to get it sorted and set up-specially the ignition timing. I presume 32/34 dtml carb??

ADVANCE THE TIMING MATE AND IT SHOULD MAKE IT RUN MUCH BETTER BUT PLAY SAFE AND GET IT TUNED BY PROS.
IF YOU GOT THE FUNDS TAKE IT ON THE ROLLERS (more accurate).
