Well with my Astra Project now on hold for health reasons, I decided I needed another project to keep me going, something to buy bits for but never fit and so on and so forth. So was trawling Ebay and came along this:

http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj100/spavosry/BfIoBWkKGrHqQOKjwEws-LkR9IBMLj-7FCu_12.jpg

Bought for the princely sum of £72 and delivered for a further £30.

It's running on a mk1 Escort Rear Axle and a Triumph Front Set-up, it's an earlier Dutton chassis and has never been on the road/track and has been holed up in a workshop for 'a few years'. But as its an earlier model, it means theres a wider choice of engines, from a 2.0 Pinto to a V8 Rover Lump, modern Zetec engines or possibly Vauxhall's, with a bit of work, unfortunately its too heavy for a bike engine (but its still damn light!)

Plans:
Strip it
Shot-blast the chassis,
Re-paint/Powdercoat.
...

Thats as far as I've got http://www.mk3oc.com/forum/images/smilies/lol.gif

I know its not a NOva, but thought some of you chaps might enjoy it/pitch in with some ideas and help!

Thanks guys, it'll be a road going car, but I'm hoping to take it to a couple of track days.
