anything else that is brownish & fizzy is simply not as good...

you've obviously not tried the proper alcoholic stuff.. it is actually root ginger & lemon with yeast..... it tastes heavenly. i really should knock a batch up for next years nats........ i don't think they'd allow it at billing. it needs champagne cork wires to stop it popping. i blame the secondary fermentation in the bottle

I get through so much fizzy drinks in the summer it's crazy.

A classic has to be Coca-Cola in the proper Coke glass with ice and a slice of lemon. Although Cherry Coke is pure win too, imo, when ice cold

If it has to be a diet fizzy then deffo Pepsi Max, miles better than Coke Zero.

I also like the more 'upmarket' fizzy drinks i.e. the ones that aren't cheap lol

Appletiser and Schloer (the grape only ones are best). I could easily finish bottles and bottles of the stuff.

As Mowgli put it, Dandilion and Birdmuck is rank. I was once mistaken and thought it was coke, saw a 2 litre bottle of the stuff in the fridge unopened, didnt reay the label (hey it was black and fizzy, what else could it be right?) Drank it and thought 'this is sh*t!'

Upon reading the label I poured the lot down the sink.

Theres also stuff that I've drank when abroad which we don't get in the UK, or hard to find. Schwepps Mandrin and bitter lemon in glass bottles are well nice. There's also stuff like proper natural carbonated mineral water (soda water) that's mixed with real fruit flavours. Seems to be found in mediterranean countries but it's well nice and actually pretty good for you.

I could write an on going list but the above are the ones I really could drink all day. There's more but this'll do for now.

That is sick! When my ex was about 5, he tried to make cream soda by mixing milk, cream and lemonade. I don't think his mum was too happy about him throwing it up all over the new stair carpet.
