4 speed/5 speed

The turret part of the linkage that bolts to the top of the box are they different between 4 and 5 speed

I've got 2, 1 from a 4 speed and 1 from a 5 speed and I'm having trouble getting 5th

I think I may have used the 4 speed linkage by mistake

have you removed the plastic bit near the stick ?

Yeah cut it off and grinder it down

can you get reverse and all the other gears ?

yeP everything apart from 5th

sure its a 5 speed,

if you have reverse you should have 5th

Yes it's the gearbox that came with the engine c14se from a corsa

I'm unsure if I've used the nova part which was 4 speed or the corsa part 5 speed

all you should of done was change the mount and the linkage

the 4 speed one just won't do it.. the 5 speed has an extra leg.

Looks like I've used the wrong turret will swap it over tommorow

I always thought the selector on top of the box was the same for 4 & 5 sp, its just the gear stick in the car that differs slightly. Can you select 5th Manually with out using the stick?

Swapped it over and works fine, the part numbers are the same on the top of the turret
