hi all been workin on the nova today, on the digi dash as the main beam light was not coming on with main beam!! decided to strip all wiring out and start again!! ive been following this

and have a few qestions!! lol!
1)after cutting the loom out i am left with two plugs seperate is that ok as it looks like the plugs are joint by a brown wire and white and yellow on the picture??
2) the (yellow/white) ON HEADLIGHT SWITCH connects to which colour wire on the headlight switch??
3) after looking at mk2 astra pin out diagram i see the black plug has a brown/blue wire for an engine management light, can you connect this to the xe loom for an engine management light? or will the engine management light work without this connected??
