I have a 1300 nova which I use for rallys. Problem I've been getting is when I'm cornering hard (which I have to do alot my oil light flickers on. I'm wondering what the best way to stop this is? Maybe weld a plate round the pick up pipe leaving inch gap underneath? Would that stop it surging :s

what about the e16se sump baffle plate.....will it fit?

are you 100% certain the connector isn't pulling off one way?

Stick the e16 baffle plate on mate should be a straight fit.

Don't think the e16 plate would work as inch or so into my sump it's a metal plate with only hole for pick up. I'd probable have to cut that out which wouldn't be much hasle. Where could I get e16 plate from though? Don't thinks it problem with connection.

crap pic, but you can see the baffle into the big wing part.

make sure you chamfer the corners!
and run some tank seal around the whole lot if you do weld it.

all the 1300 sumps I have seen are baffled as std. Vauxhall sell the 1600 windage plate fro around £20. I'd fit that and put in an extra 1/2 L of oil.

Yeah it's got standard baffle but doesn't seem to be stopping it. Harry hockley sells baffle plate for £15, might try that
