thats nothing my dad put a set on the 235 55 17 (i think not sure now was a month since i was sorting it for him) pirrelli p zero £580 and thats the cheapest we could get jag wanted £960 for the same tyres, but for the extra £380 he would of got a cup of tea while he waited lol

the cheapest tyre he could get in that sive was a falken and that was still £98 and there cack

Hopefully gs3ds have improved in the last 2years,
I used to run gsd3's on my leon (225/35/18) and they were awful, they went out of shape and wore like 50p's causing terrbile vibrations! I then went to kuhmo esctas and have been really impressed, in both wet and dry and they seem to wear ok too!

I had them on the S3 last year and they worked well, I went to cheap tyres as I was fed up of destroying wheels and tyres on potholes, 6 wheels and 8 tyres since getting the car in 2003

always rememeber tyres an brakes are probably the most important part of any car and keeping you safe, you get what you pay for, im not a fan of turning the wheek and going straight on lol

sounds like im a cheap skate, i pay 138 quid for 4 tyres for my ibiza, 205 40 17. admittingly they are nankang ns2's but i must admit im well impressed in them.

my tyres are generally for track, but the size is the killer being 225/45/15. Not your run of the mill size. There are cheaper tyres around, but when its just those four small contact area's keeping you on the black stuff i'm a firm believer in getting the best to ensure that happens. Some of that is from personal experience of wet conditions and ditch seekers, then me going roof to roof 6 times lol lol
