Volkswagens are over engineered Germanic SHI*E!

Asa has a huge gouge out of his finger.
The car still isn't sorted.
The parts don't fit.
The clutch and driveshaft oil seals turned into a new f**king gearbox!

I hate them I hate them I HATE THEM!!!!

See I've always hated vw's after ittook me 6 hours to change a £5 track rod end due to the stupid design of a mk2 golf*. Whythe hell I keep agreeing to work on them is beyond me

(*the job required removal of the steering rack, replacement of track arm it's self, and as the rack wouldn't drop properly it was pretty much subframe off as well. On my back. In the rain.)

A friend of mine was quoted £152+vat per hour at Jaguar because he had an "executive" car and was expected to pay "executive labour". The hydraulics went belly up on the roof of his XKR - he promptly got rid lol.
